The Story of a Picture
I took this picture this year. I was on a beach in Talcahuano working on my university thesis. Although it may not seem like it, I took it at night. There was a lot of fog and it was cold. I stood still for several seconds to make it look brighter. This days, I had many personal problems ... my grandmother was very sick and nothing was going well for me. I was tired of my job and I just wanted to rest. I was not happy with what I was doing. I felt like in that place, on the beach, without much light, without much heat, without much to look at, everything was boring. But leaving Santiago gave me peace. This photo is important to me because it represented the longing I had at that time. I wanted to be calm, in peace. And that photo was given to me, knowing that this was not the real landscape.
