Photographic camera is a device that serves to take images through the capture of light, in such regard, an analog camera is a camera that takes to images on celluloid. I have a canon analog camera in my house. At this moment I ‘m not using the camera because I haven’t got photographic film, and that is because I don’t have to money for buy this. Before, I used to take pictures when I was studying Photography at the Institute. The main difference between the analog camera and the digital camera is that you cannot use to take all pictures what would you like, because the photographic film is limited. That’s for reason I like the analog camera more than digital one, because I have to take the picture at the precise moment. If there were no cameras ­(in especial analogs) I couldn’t express some things that I would like.  

Since that I was a little boy that I liked to write histories.  I wrote comics, stories, magazines, a little book, etc.  At the high school, I started loving the photography because I took a workshop about that, and my father bought a camera for me. At the 2011’s protest, I took over of my school with my classmates and I participated of the marches. Then, I thought that it was necessary to shell the important problems of the country.  I believe that films can denounce social inequality, poverty, maleness, homophobia, and all the things that harm our society. And I think that films can serve to change the world, and do better. For that reason I went to study film.

My name is Ariel Valenzuela; I’m 23 years old, I was born on October 17 th  1994 in the city of Santiago of Chile. I studied in the Augusto D’Halmar and La Fontaine Schools, and now I’m studying Cinematography and TV career, in the Universidad de Chile. I’m the youngest of three brothers. My parents are divorced since that I was a little boy. Then I have been living with my mother and a sister from there. I like to take photography’s in my free time and sometimes I work in filming.  I usually write independents projects: web series, short films, and I apply for public tenders –for example CORFO, CNCA, CNTV– for different projects, as feature films, series, and others for me to be able to develop them.
