My name is Ariel Valenzuela; I’m 23 years old, I
was born on October 17th 1994 in the city of Santiago of Chile.
I studied in the Augusto D’Halmar and La Fontaine Schools, and now I’m studying
Cinematography and TV career, in the Universidad de Chile. I’m the youngest of
three brothers. My parents are divorced since that I was a little boy. Then I
have been living with my mother and a sister from there. I like to take
photography’s in my free time and sometimes I work in filming. I usually
write independents projects: web series, short films, and I apply for public
tenders –for example CORFO, CNCA, CNTV– for different projects, as feature
films, series, and others for me to be able to develop them.
Blog 5: My future job
I have planned to start an independence audiovisual production company specializing in internet contents. I would like to produced my own projects, something in the short-term and others in the long-term. I would like to work outdoors; I don’t like the office work although it’s sometimes necessary. I prefer to record that executive work, montage or postproduction. Since my last filmmaking where we recorded in Bio- Bio that I’m interested to make more projects at regions. I like to travel and knowing different places in Chile and many stories. This country has many climates, the millenary forests, the amazing lakes, the long rives, the Pampa and the beautiful sky of the Atacama Desert. Also, Chile has distinctive cultures and lifestyle, for example the people in the south have problems very different to people from Santiago, and I would like to write about us.
