I think that it was very interesting to learn different text about other countries that are not of the empire. I liked to read these texts although it was hard for me because I need to learn more vocabulary for I understand. I would like to learn more English for I can watch movies free of subtitles and I understand other things that are lost. Personally, I have always struggled to learn English because I started too late when I was in fifths year of school and in my home, anyone knew to speak English. In my career Cinema and Television, we must to learn how to prepare our presentation of projects: the pitching. It’s so difficult because it must to be short and clear to we could to sell to executive producer –cinematographic or television channel– or to a jury of public contest approve our project. I think it would be a very good idea that in English subject the teachers taught us to make English pitching or activities to practice, orally and written. I think...

I think that I’ve talked about this many times in other blogs, but I think it's very important that we know new formats and the possibilities of production and distribution of content that the internet allows. I think the concept of cinema in general is quite obsolete. The university teaches how to make "movies" but people don't go to movie theaters (except if it is the last movie of the avengers), and independent films are only seen at foreign festivals for an elite and small audience. I think the university follows the same film policy of the state and the competitive funds to make a cinema to leave a good impression to the world and not to prepare creative filmmakers who propose something really original. They should diversify the audiovisual formats they teach us, I think the concept of cinema is very romanticized (go to the cinema, big screen, with audience, etc.). Well, I have not traveled for a long time because I don’t have money, but this summer my mom plans on taking a family trip to Arica so where my mother’s side of the family lives. That’s sound good because I don’t know the north and I always wanted to go with my grandmother. I would like to cross to Peru since it’s close. I would like to know “the Morro” and going to museums. Of course, I would like to go to beach. If I finish the scripts for the series in January, I plan to continue the travel alone in Peru and Bolivia like backpacking. I’m going to bring my camera and I hope to take good pictures of the family.
